A revolution is a about the great turning point in history, is a tumultuous and transformative event that attempts to change a nation, a region or society – and, in some cases, even the world. Revolutions such as the American and French had openly demanded change and signalled their intention to fight which changed their nation, the cause of this will ignite these revolutions that will seek to displace or overthrow the old order. The American and French revolutions, although in different places of the world, had many similarities such as they both were products on the Enlightenment ideals that emphasized the idea of natural rights and equality, the leadership in both countries at the time of their revolutions was certainly repressive, especially in terms of taxation and lastly both areas suffered social and economic hardships. Although, there are many differences there are many key differences such as the lower and middle classes were generally the majority of the rebelling populace, there was far more upper class support for the revolution in France versus the participation of loyalists in America and
