America money hungry

It  is  very  clear  that  child  labor  is  a  macro  economic  problem, affecting  the economies  of  every  country. Various  factors  on  the  part  of  the  employer  and  the employee,  contribute to  the  existence  of  this  problem. On  the  part  of  the  employee, it  is  poverty  which  is  compelling  most  of  the children  to  seek  venues  which  can  give  them  their  daily  bread, at  least. On  a  global  scale, daily  bread  for  every  child, is  also  a  macro  economic  problem, which forces  them  to  go  for  labor  work. Another  reason, on  the  apart  of  the  employee  is the  forcible  means  adopted  by  the  elders  from  the  family.

A  very  small  percentage of  children  maybe  opting  for  labor  work  because  school  stuff   like  the  intricacies  of  algebraic  equations  and  figures  of  speech  of  languages  are  beyond  their  mental abilities, however  hard  they  try. Lastly, school  education  is  not  available  at  the door  steps  of  every  child, especially  in  the  third  world  countries, and he  opts  to work  instead  of  wasting  his  childhood  years.

On  the  part  of  the  employer, it  is  the  cheapness  of  the  availability  of  labor which  is  the  major  factor, contributing  to  the existence of child labor. This  increases their  profit, and  who  doesn’t  like  this  ‘tasty’  pill  known  as  ‘increased profits?’

It  is  wrong  on  the  part  of  any  developing  country  to  argue  that, abolishing  child  labor would  deprive  them  of  any  comparative  advantage. This  is  because  there  is  no  country where  labor  is  not  available. Underlying  this  fact, is  a  naked  truth, and  a  major  macro economic  problem  of  unemployed  youth. If  children  are  not  available  for  labor, then youngsters  are  always  available. In  fact  such  a  law  would  set  a  stage  for  a  society  with good, strong  foundation, because  every  child  has  enjoyed  and  utilized  his  childhood, to make  him  a  matured  adult.

At  a  micro  economic  level, unless  the  tendency  of  every  human  being  to  make  as much  money  as  possible, is  not  controlled, the  problem  of  child  labor  cannot  be controlled.
