Can you imagine how the Industrial Revolution impacted people lives? The Industrial Revolution was a change in the mid-18th century from small scale, domestic production of goods to machine-based , mass-production of goods. There were positive and negative effects of the Industrial Revolution.
The Industrial Revolution, which took the fun from many children, practically forced children to work in factories. These children were taken advantage of because they were young. They didn’t have to pay children as much as they paid adults because they know that children were more easy. Working in factories took away the lives of many children. Some got ill from working in factories because of the dust and from the overworking that they could not manage.
Can you imagine how children got their education? Children hardly ever went to school. They had no time for reading and writing because they were to busy working in factories. Also, they had no time to go to day school. Which means that, children spent most of their time working instead of learning. They received no education at all. They were basically stuck in the factory for the rest of their life.
However, the positives of the Industrial Revolution outweigh the negatives. The creation of power machines and factories provided many new job opportunities. The Industrial Revolution led to everything that we have today.
