My name is Blank. I believe that I am deserving of this scholarship because I put forth a lot of effort into everything that I do. I do my best in any and everything. When I set goals for myself, I do everything in my power to achieve them and if I happen to fall short of my goal then I pride myself in knowing that I did my best. My goals in life are often extremely high. I base my goals on the quote “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss you will land among the stars. I think that the drive I have to succeed is one, of many, reasons why I deserve this scholarship. A second reason why I believe I am worthy of this scholarship is that the career path I have chosen takes a lot of time and money. I want to become an X-ray Technician, and it will be tough for me to obtain this goal without the help of scholarships. College in itself is expensive, plus the extra time that it will take to become an technician will add up to a great amount. However, I am determined to achieve this goal no matter how long it might take.
I have dreamed of becoming an X-ray technician too long to fall short of this goal in life. Another reason why I feel I deserve this scholarship is because I have participated in many extracurricular activities in high school. I have been a member of the Badmiton team for two years. During this time, I have helped raise money for the in Kiwins. When the Tennis season is over, I go and Volunteer at the nearby elementary school to help the kids with there homework and see them grow.
I believe that my participation in these activities show my strength in being a leader and well organized. I feel that the winner of this scholarship should radiate these characteristics. The fourth reason I feel that I am deserving of this scholarship is because I have been a part of many volunteer activities. I have volunteered my time at hospitals, where I went and decorated the doors and rooms for the elderly at nursing homes. I have also participated in many community activites.
I have been a captain of field trips for the youth program. I helped in the S. f where I held signs during the race to help direct the runners in the right path. I was also a server at the North Jefferson Women’s Charity Pro-Life banquet and I helped watch the children on Parents Night Out. The last reason that I feel that I deserve this scholarship is because while I participated in volunteer activities and extracurricular activities, I also held a job at Target.
During this time, I learned how to improve my conversation skills. Also, this job taught me how to be able to answer someone’s question according to their satisfaction level. I believe that since I am going to become an X-ray technician then I should be able to answer people’s questions about surgery and anesthetics in accord to their satisfactory level. Therefore, I deserve this because I am an oustanding person who contains all the qualities a scholarship leader should posess the will power to s
