?I’d like to start off by thanking everyone for taking the time to come out here today to learn about the importance of health and fitness and what helps to maintain that healthy wellness. So thank you once again and now for the topic at hand, which of course is health but not only health but also about the ones who help spread the word of the importance it is to maintain that healthy lifestyle. So let’s give a warm applause to those physical educators, instructors, trainers, etc. all those who go beyond and above to help educate the population on the importance of having a strong healthy body.
They have contributed so much to the community, by teaching individuals about the five main health components of the body, cardio respiratory endurance, body composition, muscular strength and endurance and flexibility. They have let people know the true importance of those five components, by for example informing them on how by maintain body composition will help to keep your body at the correct weight will help to increase the chances of avoiding unwanted health problems such as diabetes and heart problems. They have also helped to create programs to help better the people on getting in shape and staying fit.
These programs that have helped them to strengthen their muscles and endurance so they can handle more and endure more for longer periods of time. ; programs that have helped to increase their cardio respiratory endurance, which means they have more energy and can do tasks for longer periods of time. Sharing and letting people know that by working out and eating right they can gain more energy to handle their daily tasks throughout their day and also by working out they have gained a way to relieve their stress.
But this is not the only thing, they have created different events to help our cause and to promote health and fitness by creating different events that have gotten people to be active and to move about. They have done so much to promote health and wellness. I’d have to say that most significant thing that they have done above all else is that they have educated our younger generation, about the importance of having a healthy lifestyle. Throughout the schools, different fitness events take place to get the students more involved in physical activity whether it’s through
P. E. or sports. And classes that teach them how to keep their body healthy, informing them on what harms their body as well at what makes it stronger. Because nothing is more important than getting the students our future, to know just how important it is to be fit and how being active and eating right play a major role in that and I’d like to personally thank the physical educators on contributing to help send that message out to them and motivate them on being healthy and strive toward that wellness and fitness.
Helping them gain that knowledge and give them the opportunity to try out different physical activities to help get them into physical shape. By providing to them the assets that are needed to be healthy we have help to motivate them or to lead them on that path of better wellness. Which brings me to my next topic wellness, when it comes to wellness that doesn’t just mean physical but also mental and emotional. Now what I mean about mental wellness, is the attitude basically and how the feelings.
Because what people don’t realize is that mental wellness is just as important as physical wellness, such as that positive attitude you get throughout the day and the motivation you feel to finish your work. Things like that, and this is where more than anything being healthy and fit help in that type of bright and positive attitude. Because by for example working out, you actually start to realize after a while how you gain more energy and instead of feeling tired you actually now start to feel more pumped throughout your day. And come on who doesn’t want to feel pumped and full of energy am I wrong?
But in all honesty and in all seriousness taking that step forward and reaching out for that fitness and wellness starts with you, everyone one in this room sitting hear listening, it starts with you. The reason I say this that we can boost and promote health and fitness, however the choice to take that step and walk that path is all yours. You hold that power within yourself to choose for instance, instead of staying home doing nothing you chose to get up and go for walk or jog around the neighborhood that right there you’ve already chose to take that first step toward greatness.
By choosing to take the stairs instead of the elevator/escalator, choosing to drink water on a daily basis instead of once a week, and so forth. All these healthy choices that can be made, but can only be made by you! You need to find it with in yourselves to want to change to want that better and healthier life, to want to achieve more, who want to have the positive attitude and overall like I’ve said who want and desire that healthy wellness. For you see we’ve opened the door for you however it’s your choice to take that step inside. Thank you.
