The Man In The Iron Mask is about two twins named King Louis and Phillipe living in the 1600’s in Paris. They were separated when they were born because a priest named Arthus thought that when they grew up they would fight over being king because their could only be one king. The first theme is love. There is love when Raul, who is Artho’s son and is also Cristina’s boyfriend dies in the war. Arthros, who is his father, risked his life to kill the king for his son. The reason why he wanted to kill the king was because the king sents Raul to the war. There is also love in the part when D”Artagnan got stabbed by king Louis saving Phillipe. There is also love when D”Artagnan saved Phillipe by killing the guy that was about to kill King Louis. That is love because he didn’t want his son to die because he really cares for him even though he didn’t tell him that he was his father.
The second theme is betrayal. There is betrayal when king Louis’s musketeers surrended to phiullipe. They also saluted him too. That is betrayal because kind Louis told them to kill them and they didn’t, they surrended.
The last theme is guilt. There is guilt when the priests told queen Ann that she lost one of her babies giving birth. But the priests lied. The thing that really happened was that they put one of them away because they thought that they will fight over king.
